About me
My work as a therapist is shaped by both my life experience and a diverse professional background. I work with clients throughout Fairfield and New Haven counties in Connecticut. Before I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I spent years working in architecture and real estate. These careers gave me a deep appreciation for how people handle stress, transitions, relationships, and major life decisions in real and practical ways. I draw on these experiences, along with my clinical training, to help clients who want thoughtful and meaningful change.
Clients often say I am warm, compassionate, and easy to talk to. I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable sharing openly. I listen carefully and ask questions to help you clarify what matters most to you. In our sessions, we usually start by talking about what is most pressing in your life right now. We work together to identify patterns, discuss challenges, and notice your strengths. For example, we might discuss a recent situation to see what was difficult, then find practical tools and strategies you can use in daily life. My goal is for you to leave each session with new insight and a couple of clear steps to support your well-being.
I believe in working together and respecting each person’s unique path. I support individuals and couples in Connecticut as they face anxiety, life changes, relationship challenges, and family stress. My focus is on honest conversations, deeper understanding, and helping you make progress toward your goals. We move at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you.
I have worked in residential treatment, community mental health, and outpatient therapy. As a wife, mother, and daughter, I understand family relationships, parenting, and life's complexities. Clients value my calm presence, sense of humor, and practical outlook. I respect everyone’s story.
